Jindo and Friends Rescue has been part of the massive movement in South Korea to not only end the dog meat trade, but to rescue, rehabilitate, foster, and adopt all dogs who have been exploited by the trade. South Koreans have been successful in shutting down the dog meat trade and all farms are being phased out by 2027.
